Millis High School, located in a small suburban town with a serious passion for sports, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Varsity Baseball Head Coach. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of baseball fundamentals, demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills, and be dedicated to fostering a positive and competitive environment for student-athletes. This role requires a coach who can inspire success on the field while also instilling values of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. Job Requirements
Prior Coaching Experience: Demonstrated experience coaching baseball, high school varsity level or higher preferred but not required. Played collegiately or professionally a plus.
Baseball Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of baseball strategy, techniques, and player development.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and mentor student-athletes.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with players, parents, staff, and the community.
Commitment: Dedication to fostering a positive and disciplined team environment. Millis builds athletic programs on culture and accountability.
Certification: Relevant coaching certifications and CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
