Job Description

The LTS Head Athletic Trainer works directly with students and helps with the maintenance, assessment, rehabilitation, and evaluation of student-athletes’ health, injuries, and other medical conditions. Work hours will vary by week, and include night and weekend work. The Head Athletic Trainer reports to the principal(s) and the Athletic Director, and
supervises/evaluates the work of the Assistant Athletic Trainer.

Job Requirements

1. Board Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) and Commonwealth of MA Licensure (LATC);
2. First Aid and CPR Teaching Certification;
3. Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution, Master's Degree preferred;
4. Experience working with adolescents;
5. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent or Athletic Director
may find appropriate and in conformity with state licensure requirements.
