Triton is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic High School Football Coach to lead and develop the student-athletes who are a part of our football program. The ideal candidate will be passionate about football, committed to student-athlete growth, and capable of fostering a positive team environment. The coach will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing practices, games, and other related activities while maintaining the values of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship, all aligned with Triton’s core values.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the high school football team, ensuring that practices, games, and events are organized and executed with excellence.
Develop and implement training programs that enhance both the skills, football knowledge and overall fitness of players.
Foster a positive, respectful, and motivating team culture that emphasizes sportsmanship, respect, and personal growth.
Manage the team’s schedule, including practices, games, travel, and team events.
Communicate effectively with players, parents, school administrators, and other stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with all school, league, and state regulations related to safety, eligibility, and conduct.
Monitor the academic performance of student-athletes to ensure they are maintaining eligibility.
Assist in the recruitment and selection of assistant coaches and other staff.
Analyze team performance, identify areas for improvement, and adjust strategies accordingly.
Maintain equipment and facilities, ensuring they meet safety standards.
Promote school spirit and sportsmanship within the broader school community.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a football coach, preferably at the high school or college level.
Strong understanding of football techniques, strategies, and safety protocols.
Ability to motivate and develop athletes of varying skill levels.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Ability to work well with students, parents, school administrators, and other faculty members.
First aid/CPR certification, NFHS Concussion and fundamentals of coaching completion.
Passion for the sport and a desire to develop student-athletes on and off the field.
Knowledge of state and national football regulations.
