Position Summary:
Triton High School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Head Basketball Coach to lead our boys basketball team. The ideal candidate will inspire athletes to achieve their highest potential while emphasizing sportsmanship, discipline, and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective practice plans and game strategies
Teach basketball fundamentals and promote skill development
Foster a positive team culture and encourage good sportsmanship
Coordinate and supervise team practices, games, and travel
Communicate regularly with players, parents, and school administration
Monitor and support players’ academic performance and personal growth
Manage equipment and uniforms
Comply with all school and athletic association policies and regulations

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Previous coaching experience preferred, especially at the high school level
Strong knowledge of basketball rules, techniques, and strategies
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to motivate and mentor young athletes
Commitment to student-athlete academic success and character development
First aid and CPR, AED certification required
Must pass background checks as required by school district
