Job Start Date: August 1, 2026
Job Requirements
Plan, organize, and conduct daily practices and competitions
Develop student-athletes’ technical skills, tactical understanding, teamwork, and sportsmanship
Supervise and mentor assistant coaches
Ensure player safety and adherence to all BPS, MIAA, DCL and school policies
Communicate effectively with student-athletes, families, athletic administration, and school staff
Promote academic achievement, character development, and positive conduct
Manage team logistics, including equipment, uniforms, and game preparation
Attend required athletic department meetings, trainings, and professional development sessions
Qualifications
Prior coaching experience at the high school, club, or collegiate level preferred
Strong knowledge of soccer fundamentals, strategy, and player development
Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
CPR/AED and First Aid certification
Completion of all required BPS background checks and coaching certifications
MIAA Fundamental of Coaching certification
Preferred Qualifications
Head coaching experience at the varsity level
Experience working in an urban public school setting
