Spring 2026 Tennis Tournament Brackets Released

The MIAA has released brackets and final power rankings for the 2026 statewide Boys and Girls Tennis tournaments, which begin Tuesday, May 26.

A total of 152 Girls Tennis and 145 Boys Tennis teams will take part in this year’s postseason, the fifth to be played under the MIAA’s statewide tournament format. In each of the four boys and four girls divisions, the top 32 eligible power ranked teams automatically qualify, and any eligible teams power seeded 33 or below and with at least a .500 winning percentage also are included.

The breakdown of divisions is as follows:

• DIVISION 1 GIRLS: 38 teams    DIVISION 1 BOYS: 38 teams
• DIVISION 2 GIRLS: 39 teams    DIVISION 2 BOYS: 35 teams
• DIVISION 3 GIRLS: 41 teams    DIVISION 3 BOYS: 40 teams
• DIVISION 4 GIRLS: 34 teams    DIVISION 4 BOYS: 32 teams

Brackets will be updated with date, time and site information as it is finalized.

State championship matches are tentatively scheduled for Saturday, June 13 at MIT.

All matches will be at the home site of the higher seed through the Round of 8. If the home team site is not acceptable the following will apply:

• Home school AD finds an acceptable site
• Lower seed will host the match
• If both sites are not acceptable, Tournament Administrator will place game at an acceptable site within MIAA site policy
• The MIAA will provide neutral sites for State Semifinals and State Finals, as defined by TMC Site Policy.
