Division 1

Concord-Carlisle High School vs. Westford Academy
Thursday, June 12 … 7:15 p.m.

While these two Dual County League rivals are plenty familiar with one another, the championship stage is a relatively new one for both sides.

No. 1 seed Concord-Carlisle is looking for its first championship in program history. The Patriots’ only previous appearance was back in 1989, a 16-8 loss to Longmeadow.

No. 6 seed Westford Academy is in the final for the first time in program history. The Grey Ghosts previously reached the state semifinal round in 2013.

In the head-to-head DCL matchup this season, Westford handed Concord-Carlisle a 15-13 defeat.

ROAD TO BABSON: Concord-Carlisle – beat Arlington (23-10), Bishop Feehan (16-3), Central Catholic (13-3), Chelmsford (13-6) … Westford Academy – beat Winchester (13-6), King Philip (19-5), Lincoln-Sudbury (11-10 in OT), Wellesley (11-10)

Division 2

Walpole High School vs. Reading High School
Friday, June 13 … 5 p.m.

There will be a new champion crowned in this division regardless, but the schools have taken different paths to get to this point.

No. 2 seed Walpole was on this stage last year, falling short against Notre Dame Academy. The Timberwolves are 0-4 in state final appearances since 2016, with three in Division 2 and one in Division 1 (2018).

No. 4 seed Reading is making its first championship appearance, but the Rockets made a big statement in the semifinals by taking down three-time defending state champion Notre Dame.

The teams previously met on April 5, with Walpole taking home a 14-10 victory.

ROAD TO BABSON: Walpole – beat North Attleborough (20-8), Burlington (21-6), East Longmeadow (21-8), Westwood (14-6) … Reading – beat Masconomet (18-3), West Springfield (18-4), Hingham (10-6), Notre Dame Academy (8-7)

Division 3

Medfield High School vs. Newburyport High School
Friday, June 13 … 7:15 p.m.

This is a rematch of the 2024 title game, a 14-10 Medfield victory, and the top two seeds have appeared to be on a collision course to get back to this point ever since.

No. 1 seed Medfield is perfect in three championship appearances, including another Division 3 title in 2022 (11-9 vs. Cohasset). The Warriors also boast a D2 crown in 2012 (10-9 vs. Winchester).

Last year’s defeat was the first in three attempts for No. 2 seed Newburyport. The Clippers had beaten Norwell (13-10) in 2023, and also had a 2014 D2 title (7-6 vs. Bromfield).

ROAD TO BABSON: Medfield – beat Groton-Dunstable (21-0), Nauset (22-3), Apponequet (18-7), Wayland (14-11) … Newburyport – beat Shawsheen (7-0), Dover-Sherborn (14-2), Hanover (12-4), Bedford (13-12)

Division 4

Cohasset High School vs. Norwell High School
Thursday, June 12 … 5 p.m.

These two South Shore rivals certainly are familiar with each other, as well as championship weekend.

No. 1 seed Cohasset is looking to defend its title after beating Ipswich, 14-9, in last year’s championship game. The Skippers are 3-1 all-time in title games and making their third appearance in four years, with previous D2 championship wins in 2017 and 2019.

No. 3 seed Norwell has the most championship history of any team playing at Babson this week, as the program’s eight championships are tied for the most in MIAA Girls Lacrosse history. But the Clippers have not won it all since 2018, having gone 8-1 in title games dating back to 2005. Norwell lost to Newburyport in the 2023 D3 final (13-10).

The SSL rivals played on May 19, with Cohasset winning an 11-10 thriller.

ROAD TO BABSON: Cohasset – beat Hoosac Valley (20-3), North Reading (17-1), Nantucket (20-3), beat Sandwich (19-11) … Norwell – beat Seekonk (22-2), Lynnfield (16-5), Hamilton-Wenham (17-8), beat Ipswich (16-1)
