Fall 2025 Football Tournament Brackets Released

The MIAA has released brackets and final power rankings for the 2025 statewide football tournament, which will begin Thursday, November 6.

A total of 126 teams will take part in this year’s postseason, the fifth to be played under the MIAA’s statewide tournament format. Each bracket includes the top 16 power ranked teams for each division with at least 3 victories and 7 games played - with the exception of Division 2, which will feature 14 teams.

Brackets will be updated with date, time and site information as it is finalized.

Here is the tentative schedule for each round of the 2025 statewide tournament:

• ROUND OF 16: November 6-8
• ROUND OF 8: November 13-15
• STATE SEMIFINALS: November 21-22

State championship games are scheduled for Thursday, December 4 through Saturday, December 6 at Gillette Stadium.

All games will be at the home site of the higher seed for the Round of 16 and Round of 8. If the home team site is not acceptable the following will apply:

• Home school AD finds an acceptable site
• Lower seed will host the game
• If both sites are not acceptable, Tournament Administrator will place game at an acceptable site within MIAA site policy

The MIAA will provide sites for State Semifinals as defined by TMC Site Policy.
