Varsity Girls Basketball Coach at Hopkinton Public Schools

The Varsity Girls Basketball Coach works with student-athletes to teach the fundamentals of
the sport and the concept of competing as a member of a team, while fostering physical fitness
and the continuous development of skills. The coach models exemplary behavior in relations
with teammates, opponents, spectators and officials, to foster social, emotional, and physical
growth & development and support what is best for the overall character development of the
student-athlete. The coach emphasizes the importance of continuous improvement, teamwork,
diversity, sportsmanship, pride, and work ethic, while providing the opportunity for a safe,
positive and enjoyable experience for the student-athlete. The Varsity Girls Basketball Coach
reports to the Athletic Director, and with the Athletic Director, supervises the Junior Varsity,
Freshman, and Middle School Girls Basketball coaches.
