MS/HS Cross Country Coach at New Heights Charter School of Brockton

Bachelor’s Degree
National Federation of High Schools Coaches Association Member
3+ years cross-country coaching experience at the high school level or higher.
Knowledge of contemporary endurance training methodologies, athlete development, injury prevention, and race preparation.
Experience working with diverse student-athlete populations in an educational setting.
Demonstrated ability to teach, mentor, and motivate student-athletes toward academic, athletic, and personal success.
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with coaches, athletic department personnel, school administrators, and families.
Valid driver's license and ability to meet the institution's requirements for operating school vehicles.
Successful completion of all required background checks and employment screenings.
Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain certification prior to the start of the season (must be provided to the Athletic Director).
Completion of all required MIAA coaching education requirements, including Concussion Education Training (must be provided to the Athletic Director).
