Join us at Notre Dame Academy - Hingham, an all-female college preparatory high school dedicated to empowering young women in grades 6-12. As a vibrant Catholic learning community sponsored by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, we focus on personal faith formation, academic excellence, and social responsibility.
We are seeking a positive and enthusiastic Middle School Girls Basketball Head Coach to lead our Middle School basketball program. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of basketball fundamentals and a passion for introducing young student-athletes to the game in a supportive, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment.
The Middle School program is designed to help student-athletes build fundamental basketball skills, learn how to be part of a team, develop confidence, and foster a love for the sport. The coach should prioritize individual growth, participation, teamwork, sportsmanship, and creating a positive experience for all student-athletes.

Job Requirements
•Plan and lead organized, engaging, and age-appropriate practices for Middle School student-athletes.
•Teach basketball fundamentals, including ball handling, passing, shooting, rebounding, defensive positioning, spacing, and basic game concepts.
•Introduce student-athletes to team offensive and defensive concepts in an age-appropriate manner.
•Create opportunities for student-athletes of varying experience and skill levels to learn, improve, and contribute to the team.
•Emphasize skill development, confidence, effort, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
•Prepare student-athletes for games while maintaining a development-first approach.
•Provide positive and constructive feedback that encourages continued growth and enjoyment of the sport.
•Foster an inclusive team culture where student-athletes feel supported, challenged, and connected to the NDA Basketball program.
•Communicate clearly and professionally with student-athletes, families, the Varsity coaching staff, and the Athletic Department regarding schedules, expectations, and program information.
•Serve as a positive role model and reinforce the values and expectations of Notre Dame Academy Athletics.
•Ensure adherence to school, Athletic Department, and safety expectations during all practices and games.
