Job Description
Job Start Date: August 17, 2026
Assist the Head Coach in planning and conducting practices and games
Teach proper football techniques, skills, and strategies
Promote good sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and character
Supervise student-athletes during practices, games, travel, and team activities
Support player development both academically and athletically
Assist with equipment organization, inventory, and field setup
Help monitor player eligibility and academic progress
Communicate effectively with players, parents, staff, and administration
Enforce school, league, and state athletic policies and regulations
Assist with offseason conditioning and summer programs as assigned
Attend coaches' meetings, professional development, and team events
Serve as a positive role model for student-athletes
Job Requirements
Previous football coaching and/or playing experience preferred
Strong knowledge of football fundamentals and game strategy
Ability to build positive relationships with students and families
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Commitment to supporting the academic success and well-being of student-athletes
CPR/First Aid certification
Must meet all district, state, and athletic association requirements
