Here are some suggestions on how YOU can help support our students' "Wellness"



  1. As concerned people, we can examine our own chemical use behavior.

  2. As friends, we can encourage our colleagues to use any carefully and responsibly.

  3. As teachers and coaches, we can model behaviors we want sudents and friends to follow.

  4. As friends, we can listen and support each other in times of stress.

  5. As teachers and coaches, we can tell students how we feel when they act inappropriately.

  6. As teachers and coaches, we can create an environment which allows our students to communicate openly and honestly.

  7. As teachers and coaches, we can encourage and help our students to develop a feeling of self-worth.

  8. As teachers and coaches, we can encourage and provide opportunities for our students to make decisions.

  9. As teachers and coaches we can provide opportunities and support for students choosing a chemically free lifestyle.

  10. As teachers and coaches, we can set fair rules for our activity and hold students responsible for their actions.
