2026 MIAA Division 1-3 Girls Wrestling Championships: Lowell, Putnam Vo-Tech, Ludlow Take Home Titles
The 2026 MIAA Divisions 1-3 Girls Wrestling Championships were held Friday, February and Saturday, February 22. Division 1 was held at North Andover High School, Division 2 at Whitman-Hanson Regional High School, and Division 3 at Gloucester High School.

Division 1
After finishing as runner-up a year ago, Lowell High School got back to the top of the podium behind a pair of individual champions.
The Red Raiders finished with 104 points to edge out Greater Lawrence Tech (96.5) and Springfield Central High School (88).
Lowell’s Alex Plowman rolled at 126 points with a fall in 0:33 over Keirnan Coyle of Bristol-Plymouth Tech, and teammate Amelyiah Martinez repeated at 235 by fall (2:19) over Elaine Pinto of Durfee High School. The Raiders added thirds from Andrea Carvalho at 132 and Saphira Sao at 120.
Greater Lawrence had a pair of individual champions, as Aliana Garcia won at 100 (fall, 4:19 over Jocelyn Mendoza of Springfield Central), and Jordyn Reynolds added a first at 165 (fall, 1:22 over Olivia Bernier of Westford Academy). The Reggies also got seconds from Danica Manon at 145, and Lino Pachano at 138.
Izabella Perez was a winner for Springfield Central at 120 (fall, 5:25 over Eva Cohen of Belmont High School).
North Andover High School also had a pair of firsts – Alexia Henriquez at 107 (fall, 0:51 over Alyssa Sukharenko of Brookline High School), and Bella Prince at 185 (fall, 3:08 over Sophia Hersey of Braintree High School).

- 132: Madeline Ngo, Newton North High School (fall, 3:09 over Gwen Simkiss-Reddington of Brookline)
- 138: Adriana Degroat, Framingham High School (fall, 0:37 over Pachano)
- 145: Olivia Leone, Whittier Tech (fall, 1:31 over Manon)
- 152: Riliegh Fagan, Bristol-Plymouth (fall, 2:39 over Nmachukwu Okoli of Bridgewater-Raynham)
Division 2 Girls
A pair of first-place winners was the difference for Putnam Vo-Tech, which repeated as champion with a narrow victory over Agawam High School.
Leanna Watson was the winner at 185 (fall, 2:37 over Madison Minalgi of Agawam), and Storm Pizarro added a victory at 235 (fall, 4:53 over Thasendy Derissier of Milton High School) to spark Putnam, which finished with 96 points. Putnam also got key runner-up finishes from Melanie Miles at 132 and Alanys Maldanado at 100.
Agawam nearly pulled it out behind an individual win from Stella Christopher at 165 (fall, 3:33 over Caylee Comperchio of Tri-County Regional), as well as seconds from Minalgi and Gabriella Ramos (145).

126: Caitlin Castoldi, Woburn Memorial High School (fall, 5:46 over Luca Marshall of Tri-County)
132: Alexis Coleman, Salem High School (fall, 1:42 over Miles)
138: Ruth Pollin Galay, Smith Vocational/Northampton (fall, 3:23 over Ania Konieczna of Sharon)
145: Tessa Johnson, Mansfield (fall, 4:39 over Ramos)
152: Cassidy Robertson, Northeast Metro Tech/Bishop Fenwick (fall, 2:39 over Cherrish Remy of Milton)
Division 3 Girls
Ludlow High School put on a dominant performance with four individual champions as the Lions cruised to the team championship. Ludlow finished with 97.5 points, outdistancing a pack led by runner-up John J. Duggan Academy (66), with Bristol County Agricultural/Dighton-Rehoboth in third (64).
Ella Libiszewski prevailed at 114 (fall, 3:22 over Brooke Lightfoot of Tewksbury Memorial High School), Samantha Bertini was first at 120 (7-0 decision over Skyla Rodenhiser of Holliston High School), and the Lions added championships from Elliana Williams at 145 (fall, 1:09 over Mackenzie House of Bristol County/Dighton-Rehoboth) and Riley Morais at 152 (fall, 3:45 over Ava Eddy of Franklin County Tech.
Duggan had one individual winner – Anajia Lee Rodriguez at 165 (fall, 1:51 over Karalene Mitchell of South Shore Vocational) – as well as seconds from Anna Nguyen (100), Sofia Rivera (185) and Thaliana Silva Perdomo (235).
