The Boston Bruins and MIAA, in partnership through the Sportsmanship Alliance of Massachusetts, are proud to announce that the presentation of this year's Boston Bruins Ice Hockey Sportsmanship Awards will take place at the TD BankNorth Garden on Monday, April 10, 2006.

For the past three years, the MIAA and Boston Bruins have partnered to honor one worthy student-athlete from every boys and girls ice hockey league in the state.  These student-athletes were selected by representatives from their league for best exemplifying a commitment to the ideals of sportsmanship throughout the season.   As a result, these league selections and their parents were invited to the TD BankNorth Garden as honored guests and were appropriately recognized with the award in front of the entire game audience.

MIAA and the Bruins will again be honoring one worthy athlete from each boys and girls ice hockey league this year and ask for your help by forwarding the attached nomination to your league's ice hockey contact for coordination of the selection.   League selections should be made by using the attached form below and faxed to Peter Smith at 508-541-9888 no later than March 10, 2006.
