IMPORTANT INFORMATION The MIAA Basketball Committee voted at their October 19, 1999 meeting to continue the previous policy of basketball participation limitations for players on MIAA high school teams. As a result a student can appear in no more than two halves in one day. (This does not include official over-time periods.) On a given day a student may participate in more than one interscholastic contest only if they are at the site of the same host, one immediately follows the other, and the two half limit is not exceeded. For clarification: This applies only to MIAA sponsored basketball games. * The MIAA Basketball Committee voted to waive the new NFHS rule requiring white uniforms for home teams UNTIL SUCH TIME AS each school has an opportunity to purchase new uniforms. (When new uniforms are purchased, home teams must wear white jerseys and the visiting team a dark-colored jersey.) Section 4
