Fall Sports:
> During the Spring of 2008 each Fall sport committee develops alignment modification to become effective in the Fall of 2009.
> The alignments are released in late Summer of 2008
> Schools and leagues are given the fall (e.g. including District Workshops) of 2008 to review and discuss these divisional alignments.
> Appeals by the high school principal or league president must be filed before December 21, 2008
> Appeals by each sport committee will be heard during the Winter of 2008-09
>
Final Fall Alignments for 2009-10, 2010-11, 2011-12, and 2012-13 will be released during the Spring of 2009.

Winter Sports:
> During the Spring of 2008 each Winter sport committee develops alignment modification to become effective in the Winter of 2009-10.
> The alignments are released in late Summer of 2008
> Schools and leagues are given the fall (e.g. including District Workshops) of 2008 to review and discuss these divisional alignments.
> Appeals by the high school principal or league president must be filed before December 21, 2008
> Appeals by each sport committee will be heard during the Winter of 2008-09
>
Final Winter Alignments for 2009-10, 2010-11, 2011-12, and 2012-13 will be released late Spring of 2009.

Spring Sports:
> During the Summer-Fall of 2008 each Spring sport committee develops alignment modification to become effective in the Spring of 2010.
> The alignments are released in late Winter of 2008-09
> Schools and leagues are given the Spring of 2009 to review and discuss these divisional alignments.
> Appeals by the high school principal or league president must be filed before June 21, 2009  -  (note: Softball alignment appeal deadline has been extended to September 11, 2009)
> Appeals by each sport committee will be heard by November 1, 2009
>
Final Spring Alignments for 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013 will be released during the Winter of 2009-10.

Football Appeals Process:
Appeals of the EMASS Football Alignments for 2009 and 2010 can be made by the President of the EMASS league.  The deadline of which is December 21, 2008.  Appeals will be heard by the Football Committee February 2, 2009.

Appeals of the CMASS and WMASS Football Alignments for 2009 and 2010 can be made by the school.  The deadline of which is December 21, 2008.  Appeals will be heard by the Football Committee February 2, 2009.
