The Sportsmanship Alliance of Massachusetts (SAM), the Boston Cannons and New Balance are proud to announce the "2005 Boston Cannons New Balance Sportsman of the Game."  

As a founding member of SAM, the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) and the Cannons are looking for boys and girls high school lacrosse players from across the state who have exemplified the ideals of sportsmanship in their conduct both on and off the field.  Individuals who are selected for this award will be honored on the field at a Boston Cannons home game this season.

The award nomination form linked below lists the criteria for this award program.  If you know of a deserving individual who meets these requirements please fax the nomination form to Peter Smith at the MIAA Office (508-541-9888).
