Recent Court Decisions Favor MIAA

November 4, 2004 --  Within the last week a judge dissolved the temporary restraining order against the Association. This action followed the MIAC denial of an eligibility appeal in behalf of a football player who transferred from Cathedral (Boston) to Somerville High School.

In a second jurisdiction, a judge denied a request for a temporary restraining order against the Association that would have permitted a South Shore Vocational student to participate in a fifth year of football.
