2008 Football Calendar

During a discussion with Old Colony League Athletic Directors, it was thought that the following information might be helpful to some.  Non-contact practice may begin as early as Monday, August 18.  This allows for the first game to be played as early as Friday, September 5 which would result in a bye week, while still leaving the weekend before Thanksgiving without a football game.  The alternative is to start to schedule games beginning the weekend of September 12, which would lead to no bye week while also precluding any game on the weekend prior to Thanksgiving.
