During an meeting convened by the NFHS Field Hockey Rules Committee meeting, September 15, 2005, the following was unanimously passed: "The Brine CD 5000 is currently not allowed for play in High School Field Hockey Games for the 2005-2006 school year and will be reviewed at the NFHS Field Hockey Rules Committee meeting in January 2006."
