Distinguished Service Award Recipients

Every year the MIAA honors individuals who have made impressive contributions over the years, and have an outstanding record of service to the Association. This year Kathleen McSweeney, Bill Johnson and Bob McQuaid were recipients of the 2010 Distinguished Service Award.

The MIAA is also proud to announce that Tom Lamb, Athletic Director from Natick High School received the John E. Young Award.  This award is reserved for Athletic Directors of recognized accomplishments who also reflect extraordinary high personal values and professional standards.

Friend of the MIAA Award was presented to Ken Hamwey, Retired Sports Writer.

The MIAA would like to send their warmest congratulations to the recipients of these distinguished awards.  Each individual was honored at the thirty-second MIAA Annual Conference and Business Meeting on April 2nd at the Doubletree Hotel in Westboro.
