Distinguished Service Award Recipients

Every year the MIAA honors individuals who have made impressive contributions over the years, and have an outstanding record of service to the Association. This year Peter Foley and Michael Dorunda are recipients of the 2007 Distinguished Service Award.

The MIAA is also proud to announce that Richard Ruth, Athletic Director from Lynn Classical  High School has received the John E. Young Award.  This award is reserved for Athletic Directors of recognized accomplishment who also reflect extraordinary high personal values and professional standards.

Friends of the MIAA Award went to Sandy Dunn, DCU Center and Craig Gates at Tsongas Arena.

The MIAA would like to send their warmest congratulations to the recipients of these distinguished awards.  Each individual will be honored at the Twenty-ninth MIAA Annual Conference and Business Meeting on April 5th at the Doubletree Hotel in Westboro.
